The Bison Bar SQMIZE® ELITE CLUB OB79CRw-D is the premium multipurpose bar for women – 15 kg, a 25 mm shaft and a range of technical and visual highlights. The alloy specialty steel has a static load capacity of up to 680 kg, while the specialised bearing system delivers exceptionally smooth spin. Core Feature: Specialised Bearing System with Ten Bearings

The core feature of the OB79CRw-D is its bearing system – a precisely coordinated combination of four ball bearings, four needle bearings and two bronze bushings. This combination is designed for smooth running and promotes outstanding, consistent spin. During fast lifts such as cleans and snatches, the sleeves rotate smoothly, while during heavy compound exercises the rotation remains smooth and predictable.

Specialty Steel with 213,000 PSI – Certified by a German Testing Laboratory

The Bison Bar is made from high-performance alloy steel with a tensile strength of 213,000 PSI; the yield strength is 202,000 PSI. Both values have been tested and certified by an independent German testing laboratory. The static load capacity is 1,500 lbs (680 kg). In addition to chromium and molybdenum, the silicon content provides the high elasticity that gives the bar a balanced whip when required, without compromising stability.

Grip, Knurling and Markings

The shaft has a diameter of 25 mm – the standard for women's barbells. The knurling is tuned to a light sharp specification, ensuring a secure grip during fast lifts such as cleans and snatches. There is no centre knurling. For different grip positions in Weightlifting and Powerlifting, the OB79CRw-D features Dual Marks according to IWF and IPF standards (810/910 mm).

Coating and Design

The shaft features an elegant Black Zinc coating, while the barbell sleeves are finished with Hard Chrome, providing very high rust resistance. Black silicone design bands, trims and end caps create its distinctive appearance. The bar is secured with high-quality black Dual Snap Ring collars featuring an embossed SQMIZE® logo, which securely enclose the sleeves.

Scope of Delivery and Care

Included in delivery is one Bison Bar SQMIZE® ELITE CLUB OB79CRw-D Olympic Bar. The bar is classified as Commercial Grade and is therefore designed for continuous use in gym environments. It is supplied from the factory with a protective layer of oil and film – remove the oil with a dry, soft cloth before first use. All further care instructions can be found in the enclosed leaflet and in our “5 Steps Guide to Proper 50 mm Barbell Care”.

* Dropping is only permitted when using suitable solid rubber weight plates (bumper plates) and on floors with a protected surface made from drop mats.

** The warranty against bending requires proper handling of the barbell. It does not apply in cases of negligent or improper use. The warranty also becomes void if the bar is modified, improperly maintained or improperly stored. Dropping is permitted exclusively under the conditions stated above.
