Rackable Olympic Bar SQMIZE® POWER PACK OB79B

The rackable SQMIZE® POWER PACK OB79B Olympic Bar measures 201 cm and weighs 15 kg — the Olympic length standard you know from Weightlifting. With 131 cm between the sleeves, it still fits most racks. It also features a 30 mm shaft, four ball bearings and alloy specialty steel with a static load capacity of 350 kg. The shaft and sleeves are chrome-plated.

201 cm in the Olympic Length Standard

201 cm and 15 kg are the dimensions used for training in Olympic Weightlifting. The OB79B adopts this standard, giving you the stance width and range of motion your technique should become accustomed to. At the same time, its 131 cm inside sleeve length allows it to rest on the J-cups of most power and squat racks. Squats, bench presses, overhead presses and rack pulls can be performed from the rack, while deadlifts and rows are performed from the floor.

Four Ball Bearings for Smooth Spin

Each sleeve uses two ball bearings, four in total. They allow the weight plates to continue rotating smoothly while the shaft turns in your hands. During cleans, this allows the bar to move cleanly into the front rack position; during the jerk, the rotation follows the upward path; and during high-repetition pulling sets, the rotation remains consistent throughout the entire set.

30 mm Shaft

At 30 mm, the shaft feels thicker in the hand than a classic Olympic bar. The larger diameter distributes the load across more of the palm and places additional demands on the finger flexors and forearms in every set. During heavy pressing, the thicker shaft also provides a firm pressure point. The knurling is balanced: grippy enough for heavy sets while remaining comfortable during long sessions. The bar has no centre knurling, leaving the neck area smooth.

Dual Markings and 32 cm Sleeves

The bar features Dual Markings, allowing you to find both common grip standards on the same bar and switch between them without measuring. The sleeves have a diameter of 50 mm and are loadable over a length of 32 cm — providing ample space for a complete set of weight plates on each side. Dual Snap Ring collars with SQMIZE® logo securely enclose the sleeves.

Specialty Steel with 350 kg and Chrome

The alloy specialty steel has a static load capacity of up to 350 kg. Chrome on the shaft and sleeves keeps the surface resistant to sweat and chalk and gives the bar its bright, clean appearance.

Care Instructions
