The Olympic Bar SQMIZE® POWER PACK OB86CR-X is the straightforward multipurpose barbell for beginners and advanced athletes – offering a strong price-performance ratio. Robust Bronze Bushing Bearing System

The OB86CR-X uses a bronze bushing bearing system – straightforward, robust and easy to maintain. The self-lubricating bronze bushings provide smooth rotation of the sleeves and are a low-maintenance, durable choice, especially for everyday training by beginners and advanced athletes. This very character makes the OB86CR-X a solid all-purpose bar for daily use.

Alloy Steel with 175,000 PSI Tensile Strength

The OB86CR-X is made from alloy specialty steel (Alloy Steel) and designed for a tensile strength of 175,000 PSI. Its static load capacity is 1,000 lbs (450 kg), providing ample reserve for multipurpose training in the gym. It is designed for controlled lifting and setting down; for dropping, we recommend choosing the drop-tested bars from the ELITE CLUB range.

Grip, Knurling and Markings

The shaft has a diameter of 30 mm, giving it a slightly fuller feel in the hand – comfortable for mixed training with high repetitions. The knurling is tuned to light sharp: grippy yet skin-friendly. There is no centre knurling. For different grip positions in Weightlifting and Powerlifting, the bar features both IWF and IPF markings (810/910 mm).

Coating

The shaft and sleeves are uniformly coated in Zinc Silver Matte, providing solid rust resistance. The bar is secured with high-quality Dual Snap end caps featuring an embossed SQMIZE® logo, which cleanly enclose the sleeves.

Scope of Delivery and Care

Included in delivery is one Olympic Bar SQMIZE® POWER PACK OB86CR-X. The bar is supplied from the factory with a protective layer of oil and film – remove the oil with a dry, soft cloth before first use. The bronze bushing bearing system in particular should be oiled regularly; you can find our recommended oil here: Universal Oil Spray.
