The SQMIZE® ELITE CLUB OB79CRw-ES Olympic Bar with CrCN Carbon-Chrome Coating Black is the spring steel women’s bar with a distinctive look: a shaft in Titanium Black. It weighs just 15 kg, features a 25 mm shaft and has a load capacity of up to 550 kg. A proven hybrid bearing system provides top-level spin – drop-tested and backed by a lifetime warranty against bending.

Core Feature: Hybrid Bearing System with Four Needle Bearings and Two Bronze Bushings

Rotation is provided by a proven hybrid bearing system consisting of four needle bearings and two self-lubricating bronze bushings. The needle bearings deliver fast, consistent rotation for dynamic movements, while the bronze bushings provide smooth operation and durability. The result is excellent spin that supports versatile use across Crosslifting® and powerlifting exercises.

Spring Steel with 195,000 PSI Tensile Strength

The OB79CRw-ES is made from alloy spring steel and designed for a tensile strength of 195,000 PSI. The static load capacity is 550 kg (1,200 lbs). The spring steel flexes back in a controlled manner during dynamic repetitions and returns cleanly to its straight starting position after loading.

Grip, Knurling and Markings

The shaft has a diameter of 25 mm – the standard for women’s Olympic bars. The knurling is tuned to a light sharp profile and provides a secure grip. There is no centre knurling. For versatile use in Weightlifting and Powerlifting, the bar features both IWF and IPF markings (810/910 mm).

Coating: CrCN Carbon-Chrome Coating Black

The visual highlight is the Carbon-Chrome Black shaft. The CrCN coating offers two clear advantages: it is ultra-thin and therefore enhances the grip of the knurling instead of filling it in. It is also extremely wear-resistant, helping maintain an attractive appearance for a long time. The sleeves feature a Zinc Silver Matte coating that provides solid rust resistance and durability. The bar is secured with high-quality Dual Snap Ring end caps featuring an embossed SQMIZE® logo.

Scope of Delivery and Care

Included in the delivery is one SQMIZE® ELITE CLUB OB79CRw-ES Olympic Bar in CrCN Carbon-Chrome Coating Black, made from spring steel. The bar is classified as Commercial Grade and is therefore designed for continuous use in gym environments. It is supplied from the factory with a protective layer of oil and film – remove the oil with a dry, soft cloth before first use. All further care instructions can be found in the enclosed leaflet and in our “5 Steps Guide to Proper 50 mm Barbell Care”.

* Dropping is only permitted when using suitable solid rubber weight plates (bumper plates) and on floors with a protected surface made from drop mats.

** The warranty against bending requires proper handling of the barbell. It does not apply in cases of negligent or improper use. The warranty also becomes void if the bar is modified, improperly maintained or improperly stored. Dropping is permitted exclusively under the conditions stated above.
