The Quantum Unlimited Bar SQMIZE® PREMIUM BISON OB86CRm-ST CrCN Black is the flagship of our Crosslifting® barbells – Made in Germany. Its alloy spring steel has a static load capacity of up to 1,150 kg, while its Elite specialty bearing system delivers a spin that meets the demands of every Crosslifting® and weightlifting application. Combined with a CrCN Black shaft and knurled Hard Chrome sleeves, this is a bar designed to meet the highest standards from its steel construction to its bearing system.

Core Feature: 8 Elite Needle Bearings and 2 Elite Bronze Bushings

At the heart of the OB86CRm-ST are eight oversized Elite needle bearings and two Elite bronze bushings. This specialty bearing system is designed for excellent, consistent spin and meets the demands of every type of Crosslifting® and weightlifting application – from fast snatches and cleans and jerks to controlled heavy compound lifts. The oversized needle bearings provide additional smoothness and reserve capacity for professional continuous use.

Spring Steel with 238,724 PSI – Certified by a German Testing Laboratory

The Quantum Unlimited Bar is made from alloy spring steel with a tensile strength of 238,724 PSI; the yield strength is 217,259 PSI. Both values were tested and certified by an independent German testing laboratory. The static load limit is 2,550 lbs (1,150 kg). In addition to chromium and molybdenum, manganese and silicon contribute to the high elasticity that allows the bar to flex back in a controlled manner during dynamic repetitions and return cleanly to its straight shape.

Grip, Sleeves and Markings

The shaft has a diameter of 28 mm and is designed to provide excellent grip. Center knurling has deliberately been omitted so that the bar runs smoothly across the neck during front squats and behind-the-neck exercises. A special feature is the knurled barbell sleeves: The knurling provides additional hold for weight plates and collars on the sleeves. For regulation-compliant grip positioning, the OB86CRm-ST features both IWF and IPF markings (810/910 mm).

Coating and Design

The shaft features a CrCN Carbon-Chrome Coating Black, while the barbell sleeves are finished with Hard Chrome. The CrCN coating on the shaft is ultra-thin yet extremely robust – it does not cover the knurling but allows its full grip performance to shine through. Black silicone design bands and trim elements provide the distinctive appearance. The bar is secured with high-quality SQMIZE® end caps that securely enclose the sleeves.

Made in Germany

The Quantum Unlimited Bar is manufactured in Germany and classified as Commercial Grade for professional continuous studio use. As described above, the steel properties have been independently tested and certified – manufacturing and materials come from a single source.

Scope of Delivery and Care

Included in delivery is an Olympic barbell Quantum Unlimited SQMIZE® PREMIUM BISON OB86CRm-ST CrCN Black, Made in Germany. The bar is shipped from the factory with a protective layer of oil and film – remove the oil with a dry, soft cloth before first use. For all other care instructions, please refer to the enclosed instruction leaflet and our information on 50 mm barbells on the website.

* Dropping is only permitted when using suitable solid rubber weight plates (bumper plates) and on floors with a protected surface made of drop mats.

** The warranty against bending requires proper handling of the barbell. It does not apply in cases of negligent or improper use. The warranty also becomes void if the bar is modified, improperly maintained, or improperly stored. Dropping is permitted exclusively under the conditions stated above.
