Crosslifting Competition Bar SQMIZE® ELITE CLUB OB86CR-K, Spring Steel – Crosslifting®

The SQMIZE® ELITE CLUB OB86CR-K Crosslifting Competition Bar is a premium spring steel bar designed for durability and years of enjoyable training. At its core are eight Elite needle bearings and two self-lubricating bronze bushings that meet the demands of every type of Crosslifting® and weightlifting application. Combined with spring steel featuring 220,000 PSI tensile strength and a full Hard Chrome coating, this is a bar whose technical specification far exceeds what its price might suggest.

Core Feature: 8 Elite Needle Bearings and 2 Bronze Bushings

At the heart of the OB86CR-K are eight oversized Elite needle bearings and two self-lubricating bronze bushings. This specialised bearing system is designed for excellent, consistent spin and meets the demands of every type of Crosslifting® and weightlifting application – from fast snatches and cleans and jerks to controlled heavy compound lifts. The oversized needle bearings provide additional smoothness and reserve capacity for continuous use.

Spring Steel with 220,000 PSI Tensile Strength

The Crosslifting Competition Bar is made from alloy spring steel with a tensile strength of 220,000 PSI. The static load limit is 1,500 lbs (680 kg). In addition to chromium and molybdenum, manganese and silicon contribute to the high elasticity that allows the bar to flex back in a controlled manner during dynamic repetitions and return cleanly to its straight starting position.

Grip, Knurling and Markings

The shaft has a diameter of 28 mm. The knurling is consistently tuned to light sharp: grippy while remaining comfortable on the skin during high-repetition training. Centre knurling has been omitted so that the bar runs smoothly across the neck during front squats and behind-the-neck exercises. For regulation-compliant grip positioning in Crosslifting® and weightlifting, the OB86CR-K features both IWF and IPF markings (810/910 mm).

Coating

Both the shaft and the barbell sleeves are fully coated in Hard Chrome, providing a very high level of wear and corrosion protection. The bar is sealed with high-quality SQMIZE® collars that securely enclose the sleeves.

Technical Data

Scope of Delivery and Care

Included in delivery is one Crosslifting Competition Bar – 20 kg SQMIZE® ELITE CLUB OB86CR-K. The bar is classified as Commercial Grade and is therefore designed for continuous use in commercial gym environments. It is delivered from the factory with a protective layer of oil and film – remove the oil with a dry, soft cloth before first use. * Dropping is only permitted when using suitable solid rubber weight plates (bumper plates) and on flooring with a protected surface using drop mats.

** The warranty against bending requires proper handling of the barbell. It does not apply in cases of negligent or improper use. The warranty also becomes void if the bar is modified, improperly maintained or improperly stored. Dropping is permitted exclusively under the conditions stated above.
