The SQMIZE® ELITE CLUB OB86PLm-KDK Ceramic Black-Onyx Powerlifting Bar features all the characteristics of a classic competition bar designed for powerlifting training. With its 29 mm shaft, sharp knurling and specialised bearing system, it is precisely tailored to the demands of squats, bench presses and deadlifts. The shaft is finished with a durable Ceramic coating in Black-Onyx, while the sleeves feature a proven Zinc Silver Matte coating.

Optimised for Powerlifting Competition Training

Unlike all-round bars, this power bar uses the official competition standard of a 29 mm shaft diameter. Combined with sharp knurling and integrated centre knurling, the bar provides a stable, non-slip position on the back as well as maximum grip during deadlifts. The standardised IPF markings at 810 mm allow a regulation-compliant and precisely symmetrical grip position for every attempt.

Controlled Spin with Bronze Bushings

The heart of the bearing system consists of four precision bronze bushings. These bushings provide the characteristic, controlled powerlifting spin. Since powerlifters need a stable bar without excessive after-spin, this bearing system dampens the rotation precisely enough to keep the load secure in the hands during heavy lifts without the bar running ahead of the movement. The bronze bushings are also low-wear and designed for continuous use in commercial gym environments.

High-Strength Alloy Steel for Heavy Lifts

The foundation of the OB86PLm-KDK Ceramic Black-Onyx is alloy steel with a tensile strength of 185,000 PSI. The static load limit is 450 kg (1,000 lbs), providing solid safety reserves for daily training in the gym or home gym. With a straightness tolerance of just 0.2 mm across the entire length, the bar is manufactured to maintain precise alignment.

Protective Coating and Initial Use

The combination of the ultra-thin Ceramic Black-Onyx coating on the shaft and the Zinc Silver Matte coating on the 43 cm sleeves provides solid corrosion protection without compromising the feel of the knurling. The system is secured by proven Dual Snap Ring end caps with the SQMIZE® logo. Please note that the bar is delivered with a protective oil film to guard against moisture – simply wipe it off with a dry, soft cloth before your first training session.

Scope of Delivery and Care

Included in delivery is one SQMIZE® ELITE CLUB OB86PLm-KDK Ceramic Black-Onyx Powerlifting Bar. The bar is supplied with a factory-applied protective coating. Clean the surface with a soft cloth before first use. For further care and handling instructions, please refer to the enclosed leaflet or our information on 50 mm barbells on the website.

* The warranty against bending requires proper handling of the barbell. It does not apply in cases of negligent or improper use. The warranty also becomes void if the bar is modified, improperly maintained or improperly stored.
