Core Feature: Smooth 4-Needle-Bearing Rotation

Rotation is provided by four needle bearings – without bronze bushings that could slow down the movement. This is exactly the configuration weightlifting demands: during snatches, cleans and jerks, the sleeves rotate smoothly so that the bar follows the movement. The result is smooth, consistent rotation throughout the entire pull.

Alloy Steel with 175,000 PSI Tensile Strength

The OB86WL-XE Titanium Black is manufactured from alloy steel and designed for a tensile strength of 175,000 PSI. Its static load limit is 1,000 lbs (450 kg) – a strong value for a 30 mm training bar and enough reserve capacity for ambitious weightlifting training. The bar is designed for controlled lifting and lowering; for dropping, it is better to choose the drop-tested bars from the ELITE CLUB range.

Grip, Knurling and IWF Marking

The shaft has a diameter of 30 mm, giving it a slightly more substantial feel in the hand – comfortable for high-repetition training. The knurling is tuned to light sharp: grippy enough for a secure hold without putting excessive strain on the palms, providing a solid foundation for smooth movements. Centre knurling is deliberately omitted so that the bar moves cleanly across the neck during front squats and cleans. As a weightlifting bar, it features the IWF marking at a distance of 910 mm.

Coating: CrCN Carbon-Chrome Coating Black and Zinc Silver Matte

The shaft features a ceramic CrCN coating in black. It is hard and durable while also being ultra-thin: it does not cover the knurling but instead enhances its grip. The sleeves feature the proven Zinc Silver Matte coating, providing solid rust resistance and creating a clear contrast with the black shaft. The bar is secured with high-quality Dual Snap Ring end caps featuring an embossed SQMIZE® logo.

Scope of Delivery and Care

Included in delivery is one SQMIZE® POWER PACK OB86WL-XE CrCN Black Olympic Bar. The bar is supplied from the factory with a protective layer of oil and film – remove the oil with a dry, soft cloth before first use.
