The SQMIZE® ELITE CLUB OB86CRm-D Black is the premium multipurpose bar for Crosslifting® – now featuring a shaft with a CrCN Carbon-Chrome Black coating. Its ceramic coating is extremely hard and durable, maintaining its impressive appearance for years. The ultra-thin coating allows you to feel the knurling directly rather than the coating. The alloy specialty steel has a static load capacity of up to 900 kg, while the specialised bearing system provides exceptionally smooth, controlled spin. In short: a bar for uncompromising Crosslifting® that you will enjoy for a long time.
Core Feature: Specialised Bearing System with Ten Bearings
The heart of the OB86CRm-D is its bearing system – an exceptional combination of four ball bearings, four needle bearings and two bronze bushings. This combination is deliberately designed for low-friction movement and promotes outstanding, consistent spin. During fast lifts such as cleans and snatches, the sleeves rotate smoothly, while during heavy compound exercises the movement remains controlled and predictable. The result is spin behaviour that supports dynamic weightlifting as well as heavy Crosslifting® sets.
Specialty Steel with 220,000 PSI – Certified by a German Testing Laboratory
The OB86CRm-D Carbon-Chrome Black is made from high-performance alloy steel that achieves a tensile strength of 220,000 PSI; the yield strength is 209,000 PSI. Both values were tested and certified by an independent German testing laboratory. The static load limit is 2,000 lbs (900 kg). In addition to chromium and molybdenum, the silicon content provides the high elasticity that gives the bar balanced whip when required without sacrificing stability.
Grip, Knurling and Markings
The shaft has a diameter of 28 mm. The knurling is tuned to a light sharp specification, ensuring a secure grip during fast lifts such as cleans and snatches. There is no centre knurling. For a wide range of grip positions in weightlifting and powerlifting, the OB86CRm-D features dual marks according to IWF and IPF standards (810/910 mm).
Coating and Design
The highlight is the shaft with its CrCN Carbon-Chrome Black coating: a high-quality ceramic coating that is extremely hard and durable and gives the bar its distinctive appearance. Another characteristic of CrCN coatings is their ultra-thin application. This ensures a high level of grip. The sleeves are finished with Hard Chrome, providing very high corrosion resistance. Black silicone design bands and trim elements create the distinctive appearance. The bar is secured with high-quality black Dual Snap Ring collars featuring an embossed SQMIZE® logo, which securely enclose the sleeves.

Scope of Delivery and Care
Included in delivery is one SQMIZE® ELITE CLUB OB86CRm-D Carbon-Chrome Black Olympic barbell. The bar is classified as Commercial Grade and is therefore designed for continuous use in commercial gym environments. It is supplied from the factory with a protective layer of oil and film – remove the oil with a dry, soft cloth before first use. * Dropping is only permitted when using suitable solid rubber weight plates (bumper plates) and on floors with a protected surface made of drop mats.
** The warranty against bending requires proper handling of the barbell. It does not apply in cases of negligent or improper use. The warranty also becomes void if the bar is modified, improperly maintained or improperly stored. Dropping is permitted exclusively under the conditions stated above.
