Olympic Bar SQMIZE® ELITE CLUB OB79WLw-E – Weightlifting

The SQMIZE® ELITE CLUB OB79WLw-E Olympic Bar is the women's bar with a clear focus on Weightlifting. Its length, weight and dimensions follow the Olympic standard: 201 cm, 15 kg and a 25 mm shaft. Alloy specialty steel, smooth 4-needle-bearing rotation and balanced knurling result in a bar that is technically ahead of its class – drop-tested and backed by a lifetime warranty against bending.

Core Feature: Smooth 4-Needle-Bearing Rotation

Rotation is provided by four needle bearings – without bronze bushings that could slow down the movement. This configuration is exactly what Weightlifting demands: during snatches, cleans and jerks, the barbell sleeves rotate smoothly, allowing the bar to follow the movement rather than work against it. The result is consistent rotation throughout the entire pull.

Specialty Steel with 190,000 PSI Tensile Strength

The OB79WLw-E is made from alloy specialty steel (Alloy Steel) and designed for a tensile strength of 190,000 PSI. Its static load capacity is 1,200 lbs (550 kg) – providing ample reserve for ambitious Weightlifting training in everyday gym use. The bar is drop-tested and backed by a lifetime warranty against bending.

Grip, Knurling and IWF Marking

The shaft has a diameter of 25 mm – the standard for women's barbells. The knurling is tuned to a light sharp specification: grippy while remaining gentle on the skin during high-repetition training. There is no centre knurling, allowing the bar to sit cleanly on the neck during front squats and cleans. As a Weightlifting bar, the OB79WLw-E features the IWF marking at a distance of 910 mm.

Coating

The shaft and barbell sleeves feature a uniform Zinc Matte Gloss, Silver Matte coating that provides solid rust resistance. The bar is secured with high-quality Dual Snap Ring collars featuring an embossed SQMIZE® logo, which securely enclose the sleeves.

Scope of Delivery and Care

Included in delivery is one SQMIZE® ELITE CLUB OB79WLw-E Olympic Bar. The bar is classified as Commercial Grade and is therefore designed for continuous use in gym environments. It is supplied from the factory with a protective layer of oil and film – remove the oil with a dry, soft cloth before first use. All further care instructions can be found in the enclosed leaflet and in our “5 Steps Guide to Proper 50 mm Barbell Care”.

* Dropping is only permitted when using suitable solid rubber weight plates (bumper plates) and on floors with a protected surface made from drop mats.

** The warranty against bending requires proper handling of the barbell. It does not apply in cases of negligent or improper use. The warranty also becomes void if the bar is modified, improperly maintained or improperly stored. Dropping is permitted exclusively under the conditions stated above.
